Thai eVisa Payment

The Thailand eVisa is a convenient electronic visa that enables travelers to apply for entry into Thailand online, eliminating the need for in-person visits to a Thai embassy or consulate. This streamlined process is designed to simplify visa applications and significantly reduce processing times.
Applicants can complete an intuitive online form, upload the required documents, and receive a Payment Info Summary (PIS)document upon successfully submitting their application via the official Thai eVisa website. Payments for eVisa applications are securely processed through the online portal of the Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for all applicants.

General Instructions for Thai eVisa Payment

1. Save the QR code after successfully submitting the e-visa application on the Thai e-visa website.

      a. The document should be in either image format (JPG, PNG, Bitmap) or PDF format.

      b. The QR image size should not exceed 4000×4000 pixels, and the file size should not exceed 2 MB.

      c. The QR image should be correctly oriented and should not be flipped vertically or horizontally.

2. Upload the document (Payment Info Summary-PIS) to the payment portal.

3. Applicants sharing the same application account and request number should make visa payment altogether in the same transaction. The maximum number of applicants under one account and request number is 10. Split payment is not allowed.

4. Input the request number carefully twice along with all the other details.

5. Please check all the information before submitting. Once payment is made, there is no option to make any correction.

6. Complete the payment using the most suitable payment method.

7. After a successful payment, an SMS to mobile phone and an email to your email address will be sent.

8. Payment portal will open at 9:00am and will remain till 12:00pm only on the Embassy working day. Please make payment within the specified deadline.

9. The daily number of eVisa payment limit is 400 in the initial phase and when the limit is reached, payment portal will be closed for the day. The limit restriction is sole discretionary authority of The Royal Thai Embassy, Dhaka.

10. Processing, issuing or rejecting Visa is the sole desecration of The Royal Thai embassy, Dhaka.

11. eVisa payment is non-refundable.

The Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC functions exclusively as a payment facilitator for the Thailand Embassy’s eVisa services. Currently, eVisa payments are capped at 400 transactions per day, and payments are only accepted between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM on the Embassy’s working days.

These operational guidelines are determined solely by the Embassy, which holds full authority over the processing, approval, and issuance of eVisas. The Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC bears no responsibility if an applicant is unable to complete their payment within the designated time frame. Applicants are encouraged to plan ahead to ensure a smooth and timely payment process.

K Sripavan

Chairman

Mr Kanagasabapathy Sripavan was appointed as the Chief Justice of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in January 2015 and held office until March 2017. During this period he functioned as the Chairman of the Judicial Services Commission of Sri Lanka, Chairman of the Incorporated Council of Legal Education, Chairman of the Sri Lanka Judges’ Institute and Chairman of the Superior Court Complex Board of Management.

Mr Sripavan was enrolled as an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka in 1977. He obtained a Diploma in Industrial Law from the University of Colombo in 1992 and Master of Laws from the University of London in 1994.

He functioned as the Head of the Court of Appeal Unit in the Attorney General’s Department and handled a large volume of work both in the Court of Appeal and in the Supreme Court including Bills and Fundamental Rights Applications. Prior to the elevation to the Court of Appeal Bench he functioned as a Legal Consultant for the National Savings Bank for two years.

He was appointed a Judge of the Court of Appeal in May 2002 and was elevated to the post of President of the Court of Appeal in March 2007 by his Excellency the President. In March 2008 he was elevated to the Supreme Court Bench.
